About Me

While my web persona is "felixruina", or often just "felix", my real name is Brian White. I am an amateur photographer, as well as an Open Source Software enthusiast. I live all over (most recently Akita, Japan), but lately I have settled down somewhat to help work on the family farm near Boise City, Oklahoma in the USA.

I am a Linux user, and so my primary post-production tools are The GIMP and F-Spot. I typically shoot my photos with a Pentax K100D and a Samsung Digimax L60. My favorite lens is my Pentax SMCP-FA 43mm f/1.9 Limited, but I also use a Pentax 18-55 kit lens, a Pentax 70-300 lens, and the venerable Pentax-M 50mm f/2 lens.
